We went to a lovely 4th of July party on Whitefish Lake.  Left Anndra home with Gma and took the boys with wetsuits.  Swimming, food, fireworks - perfect night.

Since Todd has been stuck sitting around with his foot elevated, the little ones have been enjoying more lap time than they usually get:

Last week, the kids and I left Todd home to continue his recovery and drove Gma back to Utah.  One of the first treats on our trip: visiting with great friends who now live in South Carolina.

It was also wonderful to see cousins, grandparents, aunts/uncles, etc.

Paying our respects to Gma Sherrie and Kelli:

Gma took us to the zoo our last day (pics to follow in next post).  Then we drove home to Montana.

Ankle, Animals, and Awesomeness

Happy Independence Day!  Here is a little recap of the end of June and pics from some of the excitement we've already had in July.

10 days ago, Todd had ANKLE surgery - poor guy.  Has to be completely off that foot for weeks.

Thankfully, Grandma came to help out for a couple of weeks - and even got to celebrate her birthday with us.

On Monday, Todd went back to work and the rest of us went hiking and saw some large ANIMALS!

 

 

 

 

 

We've seen many does & fawns since moving here, but this was our 1st buck
